Buddy Class

Room 2 has a buddy class this year. They are Year 5 students from Room 23. My buddy is kind to me. He read a book with me in our first meeting.

Counting to 10

LI - to count to 10 using materials

For maths, I know how to count up to 9 jellybeans and if I add 1 more I have 10 jellybeans! I am learning that I have 5 fingers on each of my hands and there are 10 fingers together. The fingers help me count up to 10.

My Writing Book

LI - to write some sounds I can hear in a sentence

In Room 2, I am learning to say a sentence and then write my sentence down. I am learning to use the alphabet card to find the sounds or the word I am using in my sentence. I am also learning that a sentence has a full stop and words need finger spaces between them. Here’s my amazing work!

Reading Eggs

LI - to log on Reading Eggs

I am learning to log on Reading Eggs by myself. I am using a card that has my username and password. I want to practice this at home also so I can get better. 

I know how to go on the activities on Reading Eggs map. I am learning the sounds and I collect Gold Eggs!
